OCTOBER 2010 - Participation in SEAMCAT technical group (STG) meeting and workshop, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Rogério Dionísio attended the 23rd STG plenary meeting, on October 4. The meeting was hosted by ECO - EuropeanCommunicationsOffice, Copenhagen, Denmark.
STG is one of the working groups within CEPT, responsible for the development and maintenance of SEAMCAT. This tool permits statistical modelling of different radio interference scenarios for performing sharing and compatibility studies between radiocommunications systems in the same or adjacent frequency bands.
Rogério Dionísio contributed with enhancements and bug fixes for the next official release (SEAMCAT-3.2.2).
Rogério Dionísio was also present in SEAMCAT workshop on October 5. He presented his research, entitled “TVWS characterization of DVB-T systems”, before an audience of mobile network operators, spectrum regulators and academics.
