OCTOBER 2011 - New Partner in the COGEU Consortium

We're glad to announce that starting 1st October, the COGEU consortium has a new partner, TOWERCOM Inc., based in Slovakia (Bratislava).

This is possible thanks to the acceptance of the COGEU-EnlargedEU project proposal which was submitted last January 2011 to the European Commission as part of the FP7 work programme topic ICT-2011.11.3, "Supplements to Strengthen Cooperation in ICT R&D in an Enlarged European Union ".

TOWERCOM is a company focused mainly on the provisioning of broadcasting services throughout the whole territory of the Slovak Republic.

At technical level, TOWERCOM will extend TV White Spaces characterization (WP4) and COGEU system validation for two additional scenarios in Slovakia: Bratislava and Banska Bystrica (WP7).
